Corrin
I took multiple classes on breastfeeding during my pregnancy and thought I was well prepared. After the birth of my child, I realized that I had no idea what I was doing. We struggled with oral restrictions, difficulty latching, oversupply, clogged ducts, recurrent mastitis, and numerous food allergies. When we came perilously close to failure to thrive, I switched to exclusive pumping and loved it. I found my rhythm and continued pumping for two years. This newfound passion for breastfeeding and a desire to help others led me to return to school to earn a Certificate in Human Lactation and I received my IBCLC credential in 2024.
