I am glad you are here! I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over five years of experience supporting breastfeeding families in Utah County. Since I was little I thought breastfeeding was normal but knew little about it. Working at WIC opened my eyes to our body's transformation to nourish a baby, and felt intrigued by the learning process and the potential benefits for both mother and baby. After having my babies, I also learned about that it just does not come naturally for most of us but I had learned so much that I was willing to find support to overcome the many concerns and challenges I faced. As a mother of three and IBCLC, I understand the joys and challenges of breastfeeding firsthand. You are not alone!
I love dancing, whether is taking a class, letting loose at home, or just doing Zumba. It's a wonderful way to stay active and share some fun. I also enjoy trying new foods with my children. It is fun to introduce them to new flavors and cultures. I also enjoy going to the movies. Popcorn and soda are the perfect way to unwind and relax.
