Orcutt, California
Serving Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo Counties
kayla@breezybabies.com
I am a Lactation Consultant based in Orcutt, California. I serve most areas in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties as well as families across the world via telehealth. I have been a lactation consultant since 2019.

My dedication to promoting optimal health and child development began in college where I worked in (and studied) early childhood education. After many years of supporting children and families directly as well as through policy development and advocacy, I was introduced to the wonderful world of lactation when a dear friend of mine had her first baby. After hearing about her journey and the support she received, I knew I had found the specific calling I was searching for and began supporting breastfeeding families in 2019 as an IBCLC. Once I gave birth to my own son, my passion for protecting the breastfeeding relationship grew exponentially. It is the honor of my lifetime to help families nourish their little ones and navigate the first year of parenthood (and beyond).

I am a California native who loves experiencing the world through my son's eyes, recharging with family, baking/cooking and chipping away at my TBR pile.

What I'll bring to your lactation Journey:

My main focus is to simplify and circle back to the basics of lactation while empowering you to trust and find your intuition as a mother/parent.

I specialize in prenatal education, functional feeding assessments, flange fitting and empowering families
