I am located in Des Moines, Iowa and serve the surrounding areas in addition to Telehealth appointments worldwide. I can offer a variety of services to best fit your needs such as: prenatal planning, difficult bottle-feeding, pain with latch, supplementing and breastfeeding, pumping, back to work pumping plans, starting solids, and weaning. I have been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2023 but have been extensively working with the mother-baby dyad since becoming a nurse in 2017.
I have been working with babies since becoming a Registered Nurse in 2017 in the NICU, with postpartum families and now as a lactation consultant. I have always felt passionate about empowering women by support and education to help navigate motherhood. Even after my experience as a nurse, when I became a mother I still second guessed everything when it came to breastfeeding, returning to work, starting solids, sleeping through the night, and weaning. These experiences fueled my passion even more, and now I feel honored to help families through their own experiences whatever they may look like.
Some of my hobbies include spending time with my family, being outdoors, running, and baking.
