Lactation Care That Meets Families Where They Are

Families often seek lactation support during pregnancy, the early postpartum period, or later when feeding challenges arise. Julie supports families through all stages of infant feeding, helping parents feel informed, confident, and supported — whether they are breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or inducing lactation.

Julie's journey into lactation work is rooted in personal experience. After the birth of her first son, she navigated postpartum mood disorders that led her to wean earlier than planned — a difficult but necessary decision for her mental health. That experience ignited a deep passion for the intersection of maternal mental health and infant feeding, and she began pursuing lactation education in 2020. She went on to breastfeed her second son for two years, supported by a strong care team, and completed a 500-hour Pathway 3 clinical internship through Lactation Education Resources at the University of Utah in 2024 — working with families in the Maternal Newborn Care Unit, NICU, and outpatient settings — before earning her IBCLC in 2025.

Whether you're chestfeeding, pumping, supplementing, or inducing lactation, Julie meets each family exactly where they are, honoring their goals, values, and circumstances with compassion and up-to-date, evidence-based care. As part of the Breezy Babies team, she collaborates with other providers to ensure families receive comprehensive, coordinated support.
