After working as a WIC dietitian and discovering the complexity of lactation, she navigated her own difficult breastfeeding journey — including tongue ties, nipple damage, oversupply, and mastitis — and came to understand firsthand how transformative the right support can be. That lived experience drives her commitment to offering nonjudgmental, steady, evidence-based care to every family she works with.

As part of the Breezy Babies team and owner of Mountain Valley Lactation, Casey collaborates with other providers — including Dry Creek Pediatrics for post-frenotomy families — to ensure families receive comprehensive, coordinated care.
