Hi, I’m Holly—a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Davis County, UT. I travel within a 30-mile radius from Kaysville for in-person lactation visits (slightly farther for an additional travel fee), and I offer virtual consultations to families worldwide.

With my business, Light Up Lactation, I teach a prenatal breastfeeding class once a month and host a free breastfeeding support group twice a month, both in Kaysville.

I consider it a privilege to help you with your sweet baby. I've been a registered nurse since 2005 and an IBCLC since 2017.

My journey began as a postpartum nurse who assumed I was well-prepared to breastfeed my first baby. But I was wrong—an unplanned cesarean, difficulty latching, weight loss, nipple shields, formula, and pumping all quickly became part of our story. My second baby came with her own challenges: a NICU stay, jaundice, weight loss, and more. Eventually, we got the hang of nursing, but it was a journey with ups and downs.

I often say, "Protect the Nipples All The Time!" and I wish I could send the "me of now" back to the "me of then." Since I can't, I pay it forward by helping other families find their way.

When I’m not with families, I’m working on creative projects, camping, traveling with my husband and kids, or planning our next big adventure.

I specialize in bottle refusal, oral restriction assessments, efficient pumping, and providing inclusive, non-judgmental care.
