Welcome to the Happy Place for Boobs and Babies by Maddie Daetwyler
Becoming a parent is a wild ride, with (many) long nights and heavy moments. Here at Breezy Babies, we know how intimidating the baby stage can be.
But we also know that with the right support and resources, those special newborn weeks can be a time when parents don't just survive but beautifully thrive.
Breezy Babies was founded to make sure moms know caring experts have their backs (and their boobs!) as they navigate all things nursing. We're a group of IBCLCs who truly understand the difficulties and triumphs of navigating nursing, and we help families on their feeding journeys.
Every Parent Deserves (and Seriously Needs) a Village
Parents are more relationally isolated than they used to be, and that loneliness can feel heaviest when families need experienced support.
Everyone loves to say "it takes a village," but we work to truly bring the village to you. Founded in 2020 by RN and IBCLC Brianne Taggart, Breezy Babies provides private, evidence-based lactation support that empowers families.
Our caring approach is different from typical cold clinical settings. We know the vulnerability of asking for help with feeding your baby, and our team is experienced in navigating challenges with compassion and expert guidance. We warmly connect with families through convenient in-home consults or telehealth visits.
That's where our "Happy Place" philosophy comes from — we are here to offer caring, transformative support in the ways families need, and where and when they need it most.
Beyond Lactation Consulting: How Breezy Babies Helps Parents Thrive
Most people assume you should only call a lactation consultant if breastfeeding is feeling difficult. The truth is, there are countless other factors in the feeding process that families may need support with.
IBCLCs don't just help with latch pain or feeding frustration. Our team is ready and experienced to help with many of these other challenging (but often less talked about) postpartum needs:
- Overwhelming first weeks
- Pumping logistics
- Returning to work
- Bottle refusal
- Sleep deprivation
- Tongue ties
- Feeding confidence
- Prenatal preparation
- Weaning
If you're slow to call a lactation consultant for any of the above reasons, please feel comfortable reaching out to Breezy Babies. We have extensive experience with these challenges and more, and we're ready and willing to help your family navigate your specific situation.
The Human Connection That Built Breezy Babies
The women behind Breezy Babies are not just IBCLCs. We're all moms, nurses, and real people who have personally felt the struggles you might be experiencing right now.
Our team proudly offers in-home visits and telehealth appointments to bring convenient care to families. We know the struggle of leaving home or getting to appointments during the newborn baby stage, and we warmly work with you in the way you need.
Check out our Meet the Team tab to learn more about who serves your area and the extensive experience of all the Breezy Babies IBCLCs.
