Hi, I’m Songhee!

I live in Alpine, Utah, where I am a proud mother of five. I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with specialized hospital experience in Labor & Delivery, the NICU, and postpartum care. In addition to my nursing roles, I work as a hospital-based lactation specialist, helping mothers and babies establish breastfeeding and navigate feeding concerns during the first important days after birth.

I am passionate about supporting mothers and families throughout their unique and precious breastfeeding journeys—both during their hospital stay and in the comfort of their own homes. My passion for lactation support is deeply personal. I experienced breastfeeding challenges with my own children and understand how physically and emotionally difficult those struggles can feel. With support, persistence, and education, I was ultimately able to have a successful breastfeeding experience.

That journey gave me a greater understanding of what mothers may be experiencing when breastfeeding does not go as expected. It also strengthened my desire to provide families with the education, encouragement, and practical support they need to move forward with confidence.

Through my work in Labor & Delivery, the NICU, postpartum care, and hospital lactation support, I have years of hands-on experience caring for mothers and babies during some of their most vulnerable and meaningful moments. I am now expanding that support beyond the hospital by helping families in their homes. My goal is to make a meaningful difference by providing compassionate, evidence-based care and empowering mothers throughout their breastfeeding journeys.
